Arthur George Walker, better known as George, passed away peacefully on Thursday 6th March 2025 surrounded by his family. Aged 96 years.
Adored husband of Beryl. Loving father and father-in-law of Alison & Alex, David & Norma, Glynis (dec.), Murray & Marian, Kathryn and Jeanette & Simon. Grandpa to his 16 grandchildren and Great-Grandpa to his 25 great-grandchildren.
A Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration of George’s life will be held in the Grenfell Uniting Church, 14 Forbes Street on Monday 17th March 2025 commencing at 10.30am. Following the service, the funeral cortege will leave for the Grenfell Monumental Cemetery, Henry Lawson Way.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
