Passed peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday 8th September 2026. Aged 78 years.

Loved husband of Vicki. Adored father and father-in-law of Dean & Raewyn, Tina and Matt & Mandy. Very proud Pop of Arabella & Pippa, Alex, Amelia & Riley, and Billy, Max, Charlotte & Timmy. Great-grandfather of Felix & Milo, and Lilliana, Millie & Koa. Beloved Grenfell local and friend to many.

A Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration for Doug’s life will be held in the Grenfell Lawn Cemetery on Friday 18th September 2026, commencing at 11 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Grenfell Hospital Auxiliary. Donations will be accepted at the service.
