Mrs Marian Jane Freudenstein nee Smith

Formerly of Warraderry Street, Grenfell and ‘The Ranch’, Greenethorpe, passed peacefully in Grenfell MPS on Saturday 21st March, 2026. Aged 101 years.

Loving wife of Doug (dec.). Devoted mother of Stuart, Christine, Kay and Joy and their spouses. Very fond ‘Nanna’ to her five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Treasured by all her extended family. A supportive member of the Grenfell community. She will be greatly missed.

The family wish to specially acknowledge the excellent care and support from the MPS staff during Marian’s time there.

A Service of Celebration for Marian’s life will be held in Grenfell Uniting Church, 14 Forbes Street, on Wednesday 25th March 2026 commencing at 11am. Following the service, the funeral cortege will leave for the Grenfell Lawn Cemetery, Henry Lawson Way. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
