Mrs Velma Helen Saines

Passed peacefully with her loving daughters by her side, at Southern Cross Care in Young on Friday 16th January 2026. Aged 93 years.

Cherished wife of Ken (dec.). Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Terry (dec.) & Shirley, Mark (dec.) & Corinne, Lindy and Janine & David. Father’s Nanny  to her 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Service of Celebration of Velma’s life will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, 19 Cloete Street Young, on Tuesday 27th January 2026 commencing at 10 am. Following the service, the funeral cortege will leave for the Young Lawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
